Who is, or what is, an Avian Mariner? Mostly a Dragonfly. Their initial environment being in water until emerging from its exoskeleton. My experiences in life since childhood were those on, in, or around water. Lakes, rivers, the Atlantic Ocean…
For many of my, “Single” years I flew with a friend in a Stearman Bi-plane as an aerial photographer/videographer. Thus, I too took to the air in a bi-winged conveyance. Often, I slept under a wing in a field as we travelled across America. It was then that I became known as, “Avian-Mariner.” We participated in numerous airshows, performing aerobatics as well as being part of WWII aircraft static displays. (The official name of the bi-plane was a, “PT-17” The PT meaning, Primary Trainer.)

My Husband of 22 plus years, does NOT camp, or hike. Understanding me as who I am, encourages me to live my passion of being outdoors 🙂
